The Ontario Liberal Party lost by a mere 39 votes in 2025.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
In every provincial election since 2007, over 50% of Burlington voters have chosen progressive parties.<\/strong> However, the PCs have won four out of the last five elections due to vote-splitting among progressive voters.<\/strong><\/p>\n
In the 2022 and 2025 elections, the NDP had a strong advantage with an incumbent candidate, while the PCs and Liberals ran unknowns. Despite this, the NDP\u2019s vote share fell by over 10 percentage points.<\/p>\n
